With all this discussion of environmental cleanup devices, I can only imagine how much of a knife twist that is to the heart of Haliburton,, if in fact corporates are "human".

As I understand it, there's an equally destructive oil spill that's ongoing in the Red Sea right now. Some reports say it's larger than the one in the gulf.  Also, in Turkey, on the ground, there's yet another oil spill that wasn't even a drill site. The oil just started spewing out of the ground. I keep wondering how long it's going to take people to put 2 and 2 together.

I've been watching the Iceland volcano webcams. The Katla webcam keeps shaking. I don't know if this is from earthquake swarms or if the webcam just needs a tighter anchor to keep it from blowing in the wind.

It's a massive horror scenario with foreshadowings of all those "after Armageddon" stories and movies, isn't it?

What happens after all the oil spews out of that rock chamber deep under the Gulf of Mexico (or the Red Sea, for that matter)? Will there be some kind of undersea collapse or eathquake? And the mere thought of the more than 5,000 other oil platforms in the Gulf boggles the mind.
